Privacy Policy and Cookies

Maintaining the confidentiality of data is extremely important to us and we want each of our users to know how we process it. Therefore, we have drawn up a Privacy Policy which describes how we protect and process personal data, as well as how and for what purpose cookies are collected.

  1. Definitions:
  2. Hereby Privacy Policy sets forth the rules for the collection, processing and use of data, including personal data, obtained through the Website by Aflofarm Farmacja Polska Sp. z o. o., which acts as the Personal Data Administrator.
  3. Personal data shall be processed by Aflofarm in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27th April 2016 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation, the so-called „GDPR”). 
  4. With the use of the Website, Aflofarm may collect some of the following data regarding the User:
    1. information concerning the use of the Website by the User, when, from which IP address and the manner the User uses the Website;
    2. technical information about devices used by the User to access the Website and other technical information;
    3. registration of the User’s session on the Website, including data on clicks on specific elements, mouse pointer movement and page scrolling data;
    4. any other data that the User provides via the contact form, if placed on the website, or by e-mail. 
  5. Personal data provided by the User (at the same time, we point out that the very e-mail address of the User may contain data which have or may have the character of personal data), may be used only for the purpose of 
  6. answering a question/notification concerning Aflofarm’s products, cooperation, activities – the legal basis for the processing is the User’s consent or the Administrator’s legally justified interest – 6(1)(a and f) of GDPR)
  7. accepting an adverse reaction report (the legal basis for processing is Aflofarm’s legal obligation – Article 6(1)(c) of GDPR) 
  8. handling of complaints – legitimate interest of the Administrator – Article 6(1)(f) of GDPR
  9. The processing of personal data will be based on Article 6(1)(b) of GDPR if it is necessary to perform a contract to which the User is a party or to take action at the User’s request, before concluding the contract. 
  10. Provision of personal data is voluntary, yet necessary for answering questions/reports concerning products, cooperation, Aflofarm’s operations, accepting adverse action reports, conducting a recruitment process or handling complaints. In contractual relations, provision of personal data constitutes a requirement for concluding and performing the contract. Personal data may be processed and stored provided that Aflofarm has a legitimate interest, and this interest takes precedence over the interests and fundamental rights of the User. If Aflofarm’s legitimate interest in the processing and storage of User data does not take precedence over the interests and fundamental rights of the User, data may still be processed and stored if required by law. In such cases, data may be stored only to comply with legal requirements. The period of storage of information about the User depends on the type of information obtained. Aflofarm shall retain your personal information only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes set forth in hereby Privacy Policy. After this time, Aflofarm will delete or anonymize the User’s personal date. If this is not possible (for example, information is stored in backup archives), then the personal information will be isolated from further processing until it can be deleted, if legally and technically possible. 
  11. The recipients of the User’s personal data shall include (1) only authorized Aflofarm employees and authorized persons acting on behalf of Aflofarm, as well as (2) entities acting on behalf of and for Aflofarm, i.e. external entities providing and supporting Aflofarm’s IT systems (general IT infrastructure, e-mail, IT systems used by Aflofarm), (3) law enforcement authorities, state authorities and other public administration bodies or third parties if required by applicable laws, (4) auditors and other professional advisors.
  12. If the processing of personal data is based on the User’s consent, the User may at any time withdraw consent to the processing of personal data, but this shall not affect the lawfulness of data processing prior to such withdrawal.
  13. By using the Website, the User agrees to receive marketing materials that constitute an integral part of the Website. An inseparable element of the Website shall include, for example, advertising banners on which Aflofarm may promote its services and products or other advertising content.
  14. At any time, the User shall have the right to access the content of the data, the right to rectify data, the right to delete data, the right to limit processing of data, the right to object and the right to transfer data. Statements regarding the exercise of rights should be submitted to the e-mail address: daneosobowe@aflofarm.pl. If, despite our support, the User finds that personal data is processed in breach of applicable law, the User shall have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory body (i.e. the President of the Office for Personal Data Protection).
  15. In matters not covered by hereby Privacy Policy, the relevant provisions of law shall apply accordingly. 
  16. The Personal Data Administrator reserves the right to change hereby privacy policy by publishing a new version on the Website.

COOKIE POLICY

  1. What are cookies? Cookies are small text files stored on a computer, smartphone or any other device, hereinafter referred to as “End Device”, which allow to remember the flow of information between the website and browser. They perform a number of functions that affect the convenience of web browsing. Cookies usually contain the name of the website from which they originate, time of storage on the End Device and a unique number.
  2. What are cookies used for? Cookies are used to observe the User’s behavior on the website, so we can help him navigate the website. They are also used to remember the User’s preferences, which can be used for displaying properly tailored editorial content. Data provided by the User or collected automatically is used for the purpose of:
    1. proper functioning, configuration, security and reliability of the Website,
    2. monitoring the session status,
    3. adapting the displayed information to the User’s preferences,
    4. analyzing, conducting statistics, research and audits of Website views.
  3. What types of cookies are used? The following files are used as part of the aflofarm.com.pl website, hereinafter referred to as the “Website”:
    1. Session cookies – they only work when browsing the Website’s pages, thus enabling their proper functioning.
    2. Persistent cookies – they remain on the End Device after visiting the Website, which means that the Website may remember the Users’ settings when they visit the Website. Therefore, the Website becomes easier for the User to navigate and remembers his preferences. These types of files are stored on the User’s end device for the time specified in the cookie file parameters or until they are deleted by the User.
    3. Third-party cookies – they enable, among others, to determine the User’s preferences and thus display relevant advertisements on external partner websites. They are also used to measure traffic on a given website. 
  4. How to block cookies? By default, the software used for browsing websites allows cookies to be saved on the end device. Website users can change cookie settings at any time. To block the automatic handling of cookies in your web browser settings or inform whenever they are sent to your device, you need to make appropriate changes to your web browser settings. Detailed information about the possibilities and ways of handling cookies is available in the software (web browser) settings. Changing browser settings may, however, cause restrictions in the operation of the site and the use of its resources.
  5. What else do you need to know?  User’s data is automatically collected when the User uses the Website. Such data include: IP address, domain name, browser type, operating system type. These data can be collected by cookies and cookies to the following providers: Google Analytics, Facebook, HotJar, Megiteam and can be saved in server logs.
  6. By using the Website, the User agrees to place cookies on his computer/other end device for the purposes specified in this cookie policy.
